A year gone by

How quick has this past year gone. Many things have happened and things we have done and planned, but you were always in our thoughts. All we can do is take flowers to you where you lay with Mum, but it would be so nice to see you both again in person. Though so long as we can keep you in our minds we will always see you. Thinking of you with love from Helen, Reg and all our family. x x x

First Year

A year ago the pain of losing you was so strong, they say the first is the worst, its true. I have missed you more than words can say, so many times I have wanted to tell you how much your loved and missed.

Well the pain is still strong, its still hard, but I know you are watching over us, helping us get through the pain and move on. I want to give you the biggest hug.

Love you always Enis xx

Christmas without you and Mum

This is our first Christmas without you Dad. With so many memories of Christmas times at home when we were little, and at our own homes with our children and more recently with their children. Now you're with Mum and hopefully watching us enjoy another Christmas together with Lynne, John and Zoe. We think of you every day and wish you could have had a few more years with us. Miss you lots, Love from Helen, Reg and all the family. x x x

This is one of those special occasions Dad. Your 90th Birthday. We really miss you and wish you were here to celebrate it. We remember all the firework parties we had as children and those you joined in with us at our own places, with our children. Remembering you always, as well as today on your birthday. With love from Helen, Reg and all the family. x x x x

90th Birthday

When we had our fireworks tonight, my thoughts went back to my childhood when we had a bonfire and fireworks in the back garden, sausages and jacket potatoes.

Every year we celebrated your birthday a day early with extra fireworks. We can't re-create those days but we can still celebrate in our own way.

Happy Birthday Dad xx
